Windsor gets $2M OLG payment for hosting Caesars

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. (OLG) paid Windsor $2 million for hosting Caesars Windsor in Q3 of its 2024-25 fiscal year, bringing the total to $7.5 million this year and $129.3 million since 1994. Host payments support local infrastructure, recreation, and community programs. OLG reinvests all profits into Ontario, and private investments of $2.5 billion over eight years have led to new casinos and amenities. Caesars Windsor, opened in 1994, remains a vital economic driver for the city.
